The Pilates Shop and its employees make no claim as to the benefits arising from the use of Pilates equipment and this site is in no way intended as a guide on how to practice Pilates or how to use Pilates equipment. Products bought from the Pilates Shop are used entirely at your own risk. Our staff ARE NOT MEDICALLY TRAINED and we advise that you always consult a qualified Pilates teacher (or where appropriate a medical practitioner) before using Pilates equipment. The Pilates Shop will not be liable for consequential loses caused by the use of any of the products on this web site howsoever arising.

Ordering from The Pilates Shop
By placing your order you are offering to buy the goods and permitting us to use your personal details for the purposes of supplying goods (including passing your details onto couriers and other subcontractors). We will not use your details for other purposes other than those stated in our Privacy Statement - below, without asking your consent and you may request that your details are removed from our system by writing to the address above.

We are not obliged to supply the goods to you until we have confirmed acceptance of your order and this is when the contract is made. Your credit card payment will be deducted prior to sending the goods ordered though this will usually be within 24hours of the goods being dispatched. You do not own the goods until we have received payment in full. All prices and offers are subject to change and availability. Errors and omissions excepted, subject to not selling below our cost price.

Payments
The Pilates Shop accepts PayPal, bank transfer, cheque and google checkout.
Payment can be made and will be charged accordingly in £ Sterling. Cheque's can be mailed to us made payable to Power of Pilates - please print out your order and send with payment. Please allow seven working days for cheque clearance. *If paying by Paypal please make an instant payment, if you use Paypal e cheques we will have to wait for payment to clear (can be 7 days or more) before we despatch your order.

Order Confirmations
Upon submitting an order using our automated shopping basket system you will receive an E-Mail confirmation. Please check that the details contained in this email are correct. If there are any mistakes, please email us immediately. You may also print your invoice at the end of the check out and can login in to your account to view previous invoices at a later date. In the unlikely event of us being unable to fulfil your order or part there of, (due to having sold out of a selected item), or there being an error in your order we will advise you as soon as it is possible. If payment has been made on an order that we are unable to fulfil we will immediately refund payment.

Product Guarantee and Returns Policy
Your satisfaction is essential to our success. If you are unhappy with any of our products we will refund any unused items so long as you return them to us at your expense, in a saleable condition (this means unused and with all packaging intact - we do not accept the return of CD, DVD or Videos unless they are faulty) within 30 days of purchase. Please call us for approval before returning any used goods. When returning goods, please be sure to include your details.

Damaged or Defective Goods
We endeavour to supply goods that are free from defects in materials and workmanship. You should inspect the goods when you receive them for defects or damage and notify us within 7 days if there are any problems. We will at our option replace the goods or refund monies paid by you.

UK Delivery
Deliveries within the UK, excluding The Islands are mainly by 2-3 day "signed for" courier service using Royal Mail. Goods ordered before 12pm (GMT) will normally be processed and dispatched the same day. Occasionally we may deliver the goods in several consignments but if this is the case we will not charge any extra delivery for this. If we have not delivered the goods within 30 days of expected delivery then you may cancel the contract. We will refund any money paid by you.

A signature is required upon delivery. Please ensure someone is available to accept delivery at the address you have stated, to prevent delivery charges being incurred for re-delivery. If you need to contact us to re-deliver you will need to pay the delivery charge again.

If the order is subsequently cancelled a credit will be made less a restocking fee of 25% of the order, plus the initial delivery charge.

Canceling Your Contract
If you are a consumer you have the right, in addition to your other rights, to cancel the contract and receive a refund, provided that the goods are returned undamaged and complete, together with the relevant packaging in an unused and re-saleable condition. You must inform us in writing of your desire to cancel within seven working days starting from the day after the day the goods are delivered to you. You must return the goods to us at your cost and we advise you to ensure the goods are adequately insured during any return journey.

If you wish to cancel, please email us. We require all cancellation requests in writing, within 7 working days starting on the day after you receive the goods from us. We shall refund the total amount of money paid by you for the goods, less any shipping costs, within 30 days from the day on which we receive your notice of cancellation in writing. Refunds for valid claims will be made via the same method of payment as used to place the order.

Please be sure to include the following details with all returns: Your name, Daytime telephone number & Order number, together with the reason for the return.

Direct Selling Regulation Complaince Information
The contract is entered into between ourselves at the point your payment is received and your order confirmed. The contract is made in English language only. Your contract/invoice will remain available online to you and will be accessible via your online account for a minimum of 6 months. If you need to correct an error in your order after it has been placed please do so by email or by phone immediately as most orders are sent the same day and once the goods have been sent additional carriage costs may be incurred.

This statement outlines how we obtain your personal information and how it is used. Please be assured that we take the issue of the privacy of your personal information very seriously. We will only use customer data for legitimate business purposes.

We capture information about you only by direct means eg/ when ordering or submitting enquiries. When ordering or submitting enquiries to thepilatesshop.com you are agreeing to the use of your personal information.

The information that you provide or which is obtained through our dealings with you may only be used for the following purposes:

* to fulfil our agreement with you, including administering any accounts, processing and obtaining payment;
* to inform you (by mail, telephone, e-mail, text message or otherwise) about products and services (including those of other companies and organisations) which we consider may be of interest to you;
* in exceptional circumstances for fraud prevention and detection;
